Our Story
The Beginning (2020)
Genetex Pharma began in a modest laboratory in Oklahoma City in early 2020, founded by two passionate scientists with a shared mission: to raise the standard for peptide manufacturing in the United States. Dr. Emily Carter, a biochemist with more than 15 years of experience in peptide synthesis at leading U.S. research institutions, joined forces with Dr. Marcus Reynolds, a pharmaceutical engineer known for optimizing large-scale production systems for biotech firms on the East Coast. Together, they brought complementary expertise, a shared work ethic, and a clear vision for what American peptide manufacturing could become.
Their motivation came from a growing frustration with the market. Premium research peptides were becoming increasingly expensive, while inconsistent quality and unclear sourcing continued to plague the industry. Researchers, clinicians, and compounding pharmacies often had to choose between high cost and unreliable supply. Carter and Reynolds believed there had to be a better way. That led them to a simple but powerful question: what if they could build an American peptide company that combined cutting-edge science, rigorous quality standards, and true transparency, all while keeping prices reasonable for researchers, compounding pharmacies, and clinicians across the country?
With that vision in mind, they launched Genetex Pharma in Oklahoma City. The choice of location was intentional. Oklahoma offered a central geographic position, a strong culture of hard work, a supportive business climate, and access to skilled graduates from respected universities such as the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University. For the founders, the heartland was not a limitation; it was an opportunity to build something meaningful in a place where quality, reliability, and grit still mattered.
Overcoming Challenges
The early days were not easy. Just as the company was beginning to scale, the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted supply chains around the world. Protected amino acids, reagents, and other critical raw materials became harder to source consistently. Energy costs fluctuated, logistics became more complicated, and the team had to adapt quickly to an environment that was far from predictable. At the same time, attracting experienced peptide chemists to Oklahoma City required more than a job listing. It meant proving that world-class science could thrive in the American heartland.
Rather than step back, the Genetex Pharma team doubled down on quality and infrastructure. They invested heavily in a state-of-the-art GMP-compliant facility equipped with advanced automated peptide synthesizers, preparative HPLC systems, lyophilizers, and mass spectrometry tools for real-time quality verification. Every stage of production was designed to support consistency, purity, and traceability. Each batch undergoes strict third-party testing, with purity levels consistently targeted to exceed 98% to 99.5%, reinforcing the company’s commitment to dependable research-grade materials.
By late 2021, Genetex Pharma successfully launched its first catalog of high-purity research peptides. The initial lineup included compounds that quickly gained attention across the research community, such as semaglutide and tirzepatide analogs, BPC-157, TB-500, GHK-Cu, Thymosin Alpha-1, CJC-1295, Ipamorelin, and other growth hormone secretagogues. These products reflected the company’s focus on supplying molecules that were not only scientifically relevant, but also manufactured with care and consistency.
Growth and Values
From those humble beginnings, Genetex Pharma has grown into a trusted name in the American peptide industry. Today, the company’s modern Oklahoma City facility employs more than 70 dedicated professionals, including scientists, technicians, quality assurance specialists, and customer support staff. Many are proud Oklahoma natives who share the company’s commitment to excellence and long-term growth.
What sets Genetex Pharma apart is a steadfast commitment to three core pillars. First is uncompromising quality: American-made products, fully traceable supply chains, detailed Certificates of Analysis, and independent lab verification for every lot. Second is transparency and trust: no hidden fillers, no misleading claims, and no shortcuts, just pure peptides backed by science and accountability. Third is accessibility: premium quality at fair prices so that more American researchers, clinics, and compounding pharmacies can access reliable peptides without unnecessary markups.
The company also takes pride in contributing to the local economy. By manufacturing all peptides in Oklahoma City, Genetex Pharma supports local jobs, strengthens regional biotechnology infrastructure, and helps position the central United States as a serious hub for scientific manufacturing.
Our Vision for the Future
At Genetex Pharma, we believe peptides represent some of the most precise and promising tools in modern medicine. These highly specific molecules have the potential to influence metabolic health, regenerative medicine, immune support, anti-aging research, and more. As science continues to evolve, the role of peptides will only become more important in both clinical and research settings.
Our goal is to become the go-to American peptide manufacturer known for reliability, innovation, and integrity. We are committed to expanding our research and development efforts, exploring novel peptide formulations, and maintaining the highest manufacturing standards so that clinicians and researchers across the United States can trust every vial that leaves our facility.
